This is addicting. At first I felt guilty for taking watch time away from creators but in reality 90% of the time I am using it for videos I would not have watched at all either because the creators voice or style annoys me or the video is too long for the topic.

I've been using this so summarize a lot of great podcast video. Saves me a good chunk of time if I want to skim ahead for knowledge, and makes my time worth it when I wanted to read the summary before I watch the whole video

At first, I was skeptical about paying up for an unlimited subscription, but wow!!! I've used other YouTube summarizers before, but this one blew my mind. I cleared out my "Watch Later" list all thanks to it, hehe!!! I got to sit through documentaries with the extension by my side to help me understand the key areas and points. Of course, it is dependent on the videos having captions already, but most of the educational material and other relevant content come with this. Thank you to the developer(s). WAIT!!!! Did I mention it is pretty affordable?! Hehe!

Very useful. There are other products that will synthesize video content in various ways—and some of those are free—but this extension is super-easy, lightweight, quick and convenient to use. I think it is probably worth the upgrade subscription price, if you can afford it.

I'm a big fan so far - I'm in the middle of a ton of research and I also watch some of the big name productivity/health accounts, and I use Eightify for almost every video. Super convenient to have timestamps so I know where specific topics were mentioned, and if I save the video to my note-taking app, I bring the summary and key points from Eightify along with it.

In the course of 10 minutes, I have generated and read summaries a few hours of video. For those who use YouTube as an information source like me, this is a real game changer and time saver. 個人覺得本應用程式不錯的地方如下：一、可以即時的將youtube影片，進行細部(依時間戳)進行文本的羅列，讓自己可以決定是否繼續進一步了解。二、若有問題，寫信給客服，Alex Kataev 會在一小時，最多半天，就會回覆。也十分迅速及親切。待改進的地方：一、文本還有bugs沒處理好，如Space ship, COVID-19 issues, 和該影片主題不相關的，竟會出現在文本中。(註：Alex Kataev 已回覆，正在改進當中。)二、若要退訂，在官網頁沒有明確的機制，可以遵循，需要透由私下的信件進行退訂。三、希望增加 繁體中文的翻譯 (Traditional Chinese)。四、可以在時間戳的文本上，先提供該影片的總結(summary)文本，會更好。
I personally find the following aspects of this app quite good: Firstly, it allows you to immediately display the text (based on timestamps) of YouTube videos, letting you decide whether to further understand. Secondly, if there are any issues, you can email customer service and Alex Kataev will respond within an hour, or half a day at most. He is very quick and friendly. Areas for improvement: Firstly, there are still bugs in the text that haven't been dealt with properly, such as Space Ship, COVID-19 issues, and unrelated topics to the video that appear in the text. (Note: Alex Kataev has responded and is improving them.) Secondly, if you want to unsubscribe, there is no clear mechanism on the official website to follow, you have to do it through a private email. Thirdly, I hope to add Traditional Chinese translation. Fourthly, it would be better to provide a summary of the video on the timestamped text.
